Restore Cut,Copy,Paste, delete button on Windows 7 toolbar like Windows XP without using any software

By default, Cut,Copy,Paste buttons are not visible in Windows 7. If you want to get the buttons back like Windows XP, just follow this tutorial. No extra software is required.

I will just one extra comment: There are probably thousands of so called tools or software are recently developed to do these tweaks. It is better to do manually than trying those .

This is the default screenshot:

We must create a current user-related registry entries to obtain the “full control”.

Get full control permissions:

(a) Click Start > Type “Regedit” (Without the quotation marks) and hit enter; accept the security prompt to run Windows Registry Editor:

restore-cut-copy-paste-in-toolbar-2(b) Windows Registry Editor will open; navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_ Machine > SOFTWARE > Microsoft > Windows > CurrentVersion > > FolderTypes.  Right-click “FolderTypes”, select “Permissions” :

(c) This Window will open:

(d) Check the full control (where my mouse cursor is placed) and click “Apply”.

Step 2:

So far, we completed the first step. The next step is relatively simple, but involves more items.

Item “FolderTypes” the relevant values:

Step 3:

I am giving you example of Photo Gallery

On the left hand pane, there are two separate items: “TaskItemsSelected” and “TaskNoItemselected”. On the right hand pane, there will be the key values; Windows.slideshow; Windows.print; Windows.email and so on.

Double click it and you can modify it according to the situation as Windows.Burn; Windows.email; Windows.slideshow; Windows.print; Windows.Delete and so on:

I have just written a skeleton prototype; you can delete the default values you do not need (say Windows.email); Add icons with it too.
