It is said that Windows 7 (or Windows operating system as a whole) is “overpriced”. It is often used as to show the “reason” to use cracked Copy of Windows 7. Let us discuss about this whole matter as well as the risk associated with using a cracked copy.

One may say, Linux is free! Yes and No. Firstly, Linux is not user friendly like Microsoft Windows or Snow Leopard. Secondly, most of the advanced Linux distros are paid. The cost of license is near Windows 7 Home Premium.

Thirdly, Windows update  is the major tool to get your PC running smoothly and safely. Microsoft will patch the crack at any time and without notice.  The only way around this is to switch off Windows Update. That is a compromised PC. Also, you will not get the important free tools like Microsoft Security Essentials.

Fourthly, it is quite unknown feature to many genuine Windows 7 owners: there are some extra benefits are given (varies country to country and time to time) as “Microsoft Genuine Advantage”.
