Schedule Windows 7 shutdown in very easy way


Planned or scheduled shutdown in Windows can have many advantages, for example, if you are in a hurry and have to leave home but there is something on the computer that is running and can not be shut down at that moment; it will be nice if we can schedule when the computer will turn off.

It can be done in your PC, and thats too; using any software.

Steps to schedule the shutdown of your Windows 7 PC:
Click  Start,  type “cmd” (without the quotation marks) ; on the cmd that appears in list and select “ as Administrator”. Accept the security prompt:

The command prompt will appear.

In the command prompt type Shutdown and hit Enter from keyboard. You will get the detailed instruction on what command to be used for a scheduled shutdown.

You can schedule anywhere between zero second to ten years!
