It would be great if a shortcut can be created to Windows 7 registry editor (regedit) for tutorial writers like us!
In this tutorial we will show how much it is easy to create a desktop and keyboard shortcut to Windows 7 registry editor.
Click Start and then click Computer. Go to the partition where your Windows 7 is installed (in our example it is C drive). Now navigate to C:\Windows. You will find the regedit executable after scrolling down a bit, right click over it and click Create Shortcut :
The shortcut will be created in desktop. Right click over it and click Properties, in the properties window, click in the Shortcut key field and hit any key of you choice with CTRL and ALT key :
Now, you can run Registry Editor in Windows 7 either by clicking the desktop shortcut or hitting the assigned shortcut key from keyboard.
