It is important to know that how much load your server can handle at a time.
This is important, because:
- If you suddenly get an unexpected number of visitors, the website will unaccessible.
- Important to examine before switching / buying a new server; what it has to offer.
Here is a free online tool to simulate the server load. It is free and good to perform a medium size blog, which hardly handles 50 visitors at a time. Because, only the premium runs more complex load tests with up to 5,000 concurrent, simulated users.
Important: Do not test when your server has a big load. Test during a “cold time”.
The above screenshot shows the test up to 50 visitors at a time. However, in reality, our server handles much more than this number.
