I think this is a bit misleading. All these companies do not run their base core business on WordPress.
They have their corporate blog or a section set up on WordPress.

Hey, there are many more website that are using WordPress. These are the top world class companies like
Mozilla: mozilla Blog, Wall Street Journal, gereports.
WordPress is the best platform.
