XWidget : What it is and What are the possibilities

You have probably heard of Rainmeter. Rainmeter displays various widgets on any Windows PC. xWidget is a kind of clone of Rainmeter, but it has Skin Editor and supports javascript and animations, far more easy to use. In other words, XWidget is a free platform to Windows. XWidget has powerful visual widget editor and lot of excellent widgets are available.

 

Where from to download XWidget and XWidget skins

 

You can download XWidget from the official website. You will all free XWidget widgets from the official website Gallery. Other than that, deviantArt is a great source of nice and free XWidget widgets.

 

Development and system requirement of XWidget

 

XWidget Studio was founded in May, 2011. The Studio is dedicated in the development of software on the Windows platform.

Current version is Version: 1.2.3

Requirements : Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8

 

How to use the Widgets

 

Download XWidget and install like any other program. To access the Gallery, double click the in the taskbar and then open the gallery, where all the widgets that comes with the default program will show. XWidget widgets include clocks, weather, managers of various system functions and photo albums and more. It also allows the library to expand widget downloading option within its internal browser. XWIDGET editor also includes a widget itself, leaving the user the ability to edit any widget or even to create one in a simple, fast and personalized way. In order to use them on the desktop you just have to click on one and place it wherever you like. Once you’ve finished putting it, you can close the bar at the gallery by clicking “X” that is in the upper right corner.
