First, click that Inventory tab, then Select from the New ad Unit dropdown :

There is trick in naming the Ad units.  You might name an ad unit as SiteName_Section_SubSection_ATF_PagePosition_WxH, where ATF = Above the FoldW = Width, and H = Height

You will get more details on DoubleClick website on this. Save after filling the fields except Placements. We need to Placements now. On the left sided pane, there is a link name Placement, click it and then click “New Placement” on the webpage that opens up :

There is naming convention as well. “Placements represent one or more associated ad units. When naming your placements, you may choose to describe the physical location of the ad units associated with the placement, or a particular theme or section of your site”. We are using like this :

In  “Assigned inventory” add the Ad unit we have just now created. You will notice one option saying ” Copy AdSense targeting ” :

Save it. You might get errors. If this happens, know clearly – you need to add the fields manually (by not selecting AdSense one).

Now, we need to Create an Order. To do this, Click Orders on top navigation menu and click New order button. Add data of yours’, important setting is, you will select “Price Priority” if you are going to set for CPM or CPC based target with a bar on AdSense rates. Save it by selecting Save and Creative from the bottom of that page.
