So, I dragged and dropped these two files from the computer’s folder to cgi-bin directory. You have to CHMOD these two files to 0755 ; that is the status should be rwxr-xr-x. It is very easy. Right on each file one by one. Click Select the Properties option and a dialog will appear :

You should check the boxes to make it 0777. Thats it.

Running the installer for Installing CorneliOS Web OS

Simply opening the main installer file on browser pointing to :

http://www.your-domain.com/cgi-bin/installer.pl

Will start and automatically complete the installation. You do not have to do anything. It will show a log on the browser webpage indicating the installation is complete. A default welcome message will show if you point browser to the domain. Now point to :

http://www.your-domain.com/login

The default password is root. Change to your own one.

You can go to full screen mode by pointing to :

http://www.your-domain.com/login/fullscreen

Or you can get desktop mode :

http://www.your-domain.com/login/desktop
