Drag and drop that console.xml file in a good powerful text Editor like Gedit. Highlight that path as shown above and delete. And save it. Now this Console2 Error Fix will work with 100% warranty.  By the way, it is better to use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS rather than fighting with these errors.
