ETL (Extract, transform, load) and Virtualization

ETL (Extract, transform, load) is a process in which data from multiple structured data sources in a target are merged. The process is known primarily for use in the operation of a data warehouse. Here large amounts of data from multiple operational databases need to be consolidated in order to be stored in the data warehouse.…

Relational Model : Outline

Relational Model is a data model based on predicate logic and the theory of sets. Relational Model is most commonly used today to manage data dynamically. Edgar Frank Codd discovered it and IBM laboratory in San Jose, California; quickly established it as a new paradigm in the models. The idea is the use of “relationships”. These relationships may be logically considered as sets of data called “tuples”. Although this is the theory of relational databases was created by Edgar Frank Codd , most of the time it is conceptualized in a more to imagine, that is, thinking in every relationship as if they were a table which consists of records and columns (also called fields).…

DSLR Lens Anatomy and Lens Settings

DSLR Lens Anatomy and Lens Settings are less frequently discussed than the settings of the DSLR body. Settings of Lens is quite important optical factor. After searching in Search (and carefully avoid the Wikipedia spams) it appeared that most of the photography Authors either never actually handled a DSLR or never changed the settings on the barrel of the Lens. Knowing a DSLR Lens Anatomy is quite important and most important is the Lens Settings. Because it is an optical part, if the settings is not right, how it will work fine ? Full Auto might not be applicable in all cases. As a long term SLR and DSLR owner, still I fight to understand the DSLR Lens Anatomy and sometimes finding the right Lens Settings becomes a challenge.

In-memory Technology : The Mastery of Big Data

In-memory technology has the potential to initiate a new computing era. The mastery of Big Data gives the promise of the Real-Time Enterprise to reality. You probably have some PDFs on your , perhaps a collection of books and other documents. Now imagine, your all these books, maybe a few hundred megabytes or a few gigabytes are available and search-able with virtually no delay. Imagine you could do the same with all digitized books of the entire World. Think of a Library with the size of 10 terabytes – and are search-able in less than three seconds. All is possible with in-memory technology and thus the use of big data can be made possible.

Tilt–Shift Photography

Tilt–Shift Photography involves various camera movements Tilt and Shift movements of the lens or the mount of lens. It has usages like for Miniature Faking. Basically, the functions ‘Tilt’ and ‘Shift’ are independent, so there are lenses that allow for example, only shift and there are professional cameras in which the function tilt and shift through is not implemented through mechanics of the lens itself, but by the camera alone.…
