Anyone who has ever tried to place a new website to more or less successfully in a highly competitive market, knows how difficult it is for the top keywords to be available. Of course it is natural to be anxious about close to a keyword for the first place in the SERP to take. But the huge effort can get you this position, just like we did starting from zero.
What are the alternative if your project is not currently top-ranked in the high value terms with competitors running ahead with quite clearly are superior by means of backlinks, domain age etc.? The answer is simple: use the phenomenon of the long tail (the long tail rates). Each of much use this term can not find a good and detailed definition of the Long Tail.
The need to hunt for the Long Tail:

Optimizing for the Long Tail:
In general, there are two ways to optimize the long tail.
- Write articles in which you try just a natural combination of words in the text, combine as many keywords as possible to get together. However, this possibility is somewhat limited because it is difficult as many word combinations is not really useful to integrate into a text.
- Create several pages with the same key with different keyword combinations, but one should make sure that all pages have a unique content – so they are not considered spam.
From our part we have been trying for some time to create the text, the possibilities of long tail to use and it’s amazing how much traffic can reach or which are still in the big keywords. A truly rewarding alternative worthy, before going on “grand” keywords.
