Many bloggers try to measure his / her blog’s success based on the amount of traffic. So, they measure the bulk of unique visitors or pageviews, some even every hour!
This idea that more the visitors, greater the success is actually biased. Valuable visitors are more important than this traffic madness. Many bloggers quit early just because of not getting traffic.
Definitely, it feels good when the number of visitors increases. Today or tomorrow; if your blog has good content, it will be a success. The number of visitors will increase automatically with time.

Cost benefit ratio for getting more visitors
Firstly, never buy or try to get free traffic from different scam websites. Your target should be getting visitors from search Engines, which is actually equivalent to getting traffic Google search engine for now. So, we are not saying about cost of buying visitors , but about other costs :
- If suddenly we get 10,000 visitors at a moment, this server will die; simply because it does not have the capacity to handle such a big traffic load. Hosting costs for the server (web space, domain etc), CDN will add up as your number of traffic grows.
- Where is the benefit? Indirect revenue is through the blog via different kind of advertisements or directly via selling a product or service.
- We (we means TheCustomizeWindows) actually need good advertiser (s) for a good server, a good CDN etc; however, some blogger might blog professionally and it might be the only source of income. For our case, input output if goes the same, might not be bad; but for professional bloggers; the earned money must have to be greater.
Why targeted visitors are more important?
With targeted visitors, your conversion rate, click through rate will be greater than a crowd of visitors who came to search other things than that you can offer.
Many visitors search for pirated downloads and clicked our links in Google Search Engine result page. We have no illegal things or downloads; obviously those visitors were not satisfied and closed those page. That means more visitor bounce rate. We understood, the keyword “free” was creating the problem. We dropped using the word “Free” for our download section from then. We really got a dip of visitors from Google at that time; but now, those same pages, without the word “Free” is getting less bounce than before.
