To find the plugin to follow traffic your blog is not easy when you face with a pile of plugins that provide the same service with a few differences. We must choose the right plugin, and the specific analysis of your real-time traffic, one that does not slow the loading of pages on your blog, does not cause exceeded quota in your database, it is Google Analytics Report Plugin for WordPress. That is the one we recently have installed.
We preferred Analytics Reports in Google Analytics Dashboard; which is not too bad either. The first advantage with this plugin is to have found a good substitute like Statpress . The latter has long followed the traffic of our site, but it often saturated our database and was the problem.
Statpress is a tool for precise analysis, the data collection are well presented (with tabs), detailed and sharp . There are other interesting extensions as WassUp or WordPress.com Stats , and much more, but at this website WordPress Google Analytics Reports has won the medal. That said it is not the perfect tool for analysis because it does convey a brief part of Google Analytics statistics. Perhaps one would know of a tool as powerful as Statpress but less intensive database.
