Think about the domain name del.icio.us – it is typical example of this domain trick named as Domain hack. Domain hack has no relationship with Domain hijacking. Del.icio.us and delicio.us now however redirect to the new domain, delicious.com.

Not all ccTLDs are licensed for commercial use for such domain hack.
