The whole process of Installing WordPress on Rackspace Cloud Sites can be divided logically in few points :
- Adding the domain which you already own or will own (Rackspace has Domain Registration facility for managed Cloud including Cloud Sites) and pointed the NS to Rackspace. The NS are dns1.stabletranstit.com and dn2.stabletransit.com, this pointing of domain has not shown in the video. You can ask ask Rackspace Chat for help in case you feel difficulty.
- Second is to create a MySQL database.
- Third is to download the latest version of WordPress and upload it through SFTP to www folder. Few points to mention for this Installing WordPress on Rackspace Cloud Sites video :
- We have used spurious names or fake names of database, url etc. for security.
