Upload and Uzip to FTP from Browser for Rackspace Cloud Sites

Upload and Uzip to FTP from Browser using a simple script. It is for Rackspace Cloud Sites, but will work for any FTP to upload unzip WordPress, Joomla!, Magento. Basically it was written by someone and I downloaded, changed it a bit including removing his/her texts and forgot his/her details. It is actually important to give him a credit for this Upload and Uzip to FTP script. We wrote about Automate Uploading and Uzipping WordPress on Rackspace Cloud Sites, and a basic script to manually edit and unzip / untar to FTP from Browser. This is a ready made script plus password protected.

That original coder or this person writing after a bit modification will not you happy with this Upload and Uzip to FTP from Browser ! You can buy the same thing with a CSS decoration from Code Canyon for $35 or something like that. Anyway, here is how it works, live demo :

Upload and Uzip to FTP from Browser for Rackspace Cloud Sites : How to use it

 

Download this alpha version now. unzip it and open it with a good text editor like gedit. You will find a password field saying 123456, that is the default password, that is why you can not do anything with my one on demo ! Change the password and upload it to your FTP’s root. Here is a kind of small usage guide :

  1. If you have some zip files, a dropdown will show the list
  2. If you want to upload from your computer, click it.
  3. It is usually to be left blank, except like uploading something to a specific sub folder.
  4. Password is the password of the script, by default 123456.
