Moving to Cloud is not simple outsourcing. It means the possibility for the companies to use online applications in all areas such as messaging, desktop, sharing, social networking, HR management, sales force accounting, ERP, etc. and also having the online resources on demand that includes storage, computation. In this business model, you can use resources use without having to manage the underlying infrastructure – datacenter, servers etc. Moving to Cloud is not simple to think of, as a non IT company needs a neutral hired professional service to calculate your return of investment, projected growth after Moving to Cloud, needed technical knowledge, change of policies etc. This is a free generalized advice for the starting and medium companies to think and judge the point for Moving to Cloud.

Moving to Cloud : Safety Does not mean data security

People almost always equalize safety with data security. For a small non IT, non financial, non health company, how much security really is important. This point is very very important to understand as the cost of moving to cloud will increase with the more need of a secured cloud.

Businesses do not fail immediately or completely in this model by moving to cloud itself, but all must understand and analyze the impacts of the organization of IT business within them, on the other hand the magnitude of data security.
Cloud is actually more than the perimeter, data that becomes the focus of security concerns: location, status, availability, reversibility, accessibility by users of the information, privacy etc. Plus add the unknown flexibility which might create momentary confusion.

Moving to Cloud : Deeper Thoughts You Must Think of

Moving to Cloud

Much has been written on the internet on “certainty” of data and security of data, but a very little has been discussed about the technical aspects – access and privacy – yet this is where the company and not its suppliers of Cloud must clarify the issues and implement the ad hoc means.
Why Security is so much time comes in online writings has reasons – Cloud Computing security is one of the highly paid keyword; it is quite obvious that, every Tom, Dick and Harry who has a commercial blog, as part of marketing strategy, will write on Cloud Security. This is the main reason why, th traditional News kind of websites like CNET, practically has no useful article on Cloud or Moving to Cloud. As a business owner, you will probably need the digested easy to understand free writings, they do exist, written by the developers; but unfortunately they needs careful search on Google. Most those news blog website has paid writers, who are basically good for nothing to give any useful information regarding moving to Cloud.

The simplest math is – think that, you have a small company that user a data center. You can now use the data center’s building for your other business. One room with a server will suffice if you adapt Private Cloud Model. You can easily decrease the size of IT department and reduce the cost. A big tea packaging company, needs very less IT support.

For this reason, there is a separate growing group of intellects, who can be hired like a Lawyer or a doctor to get professional grade consultation service; to run a battery of diagnostic tests – your current audit reports, your need and calculate whether your Moving to Cloud approach is right or wrong or grossly will benefit you or not.
