Cloud Computing Grown as There Was Real Demand From The Customers

Cloud Computing grown as there was a clear cut demand from the consumer. Most users who cares for quality, actually went mad with the traditional web hosts. The crap graphics of cPanel, increasing bill for Virtual Private Server and Dedicated server, “your problem you will solve” type of mentality, usage of worst possible hardwares, all silently made the users to accept – Web Hosting means pain. Before Cloud Computing arrived, there was enterprise level Hosting solutions from big brands, they were not affordable to the most. When this segment of users got the service of Cloud Computing based hosting from A Grade brands at hourly charge with optional paid managed level of service by knowledgeable yet polite to talk with UNIX experts, it automatically became the choice.

Cloud Computing Probably Adapted First By Experimental Users First

In our quite old articles on webhosting, when Cloud Computing or Cloud Hosting was not an option at least for the general users, we used to write, web hosting is probably a thing whose quality can not be predicted from pricing. In recent time, several companies in the webhosting industry, who started considering cloud strategy for their products, many developers are obviously looking at the market potential, convinced by the fact that more and more customers are interested in the possibility of using cloud computing solutions.

Cloud Computing Consumers : Amazon Started but Rackspace Set Gave the Acceleration

Forget about the word Cloud Computing. When an user with an budget of $150 / month or less, heard that there is possibility of less billing with 100% sure “what I am seeing I am paying for” it definitely created an query – will we check how it is ? Then they heard a word – Support, may be branded “Fanatical Support” – real educated peoples are on the desk to answer or solve the issues, Cloud Computing became a kind of love.

Cloud Computing

CMS like WordPress is never a movable thing like a suitcase or briefcase, but it was a common thing that users have to move, the webhost will be careless to keep a gate of security open to get hacked and will be fully uncooperative in emergency. Probably the worst thing was DNS propagation, today’s 5 minutes propagation was not there, we can personally recall the days to wait. No one was to tell why DNS propagation is not happening. Probably the balm was few helpful peoples in third party forums.

Our personal idea is that, many of these requests are dictated by marketing that has been created around this technology. However, it is clear that this interest in the market pushes companies to consider the conversion of their infrastructure to the cloud or the introduction of cloud computing products, almost always in HaaS or solutions to entirely manage virtual instances. Cloud Computing and HaaS, two words that lead us directly to the model of Amazon EC2 and Rackspace, in fact may be clients to fan model has been created by the providers.

It was acceptable before that, if someone lovingly buys Apple Mac or a costly Toothbrush, the consumer will turn to a fan. Probably the word “honesty” is there outside profit. Cloud Computing simply used this points. Definitely a satisfied user of Heroku, Rackspace or Amazon is their fans. The reason is nothing but – “what I am seeing I am paying for”.
