Writing a Blog Still Makes Money With AdSense in 2014? Yes and No! Let us dig a bit off-topic from our usual topic of article and look at the earnings! This innocent looking website still earns 2000 USD – number of visitors does not matter, definitely not because of using Google AdSense. With time, a sense develops – what to do the next. We are not calculating our other websites which are not fully controlled (from writing point of view) by this author. We can definitely confirm you one thing – writing a Blog still Makes Money with AdSense in 2014.

Writing a Blog and Changes in Google AdSense

Google AdSense once had a referral program, you can still see the article where Darren wrote about the withdrawal of the program by Google Inc. There was some nice gifts by Google AdSense during the Christmas – these are no longer present. The only present freebie is Google AdWords Voucher once a year.

That is said, but there is a huge improvement in support part by Google AdSense – at least good to have the way to get the Pay Check Re-Issued lost by courier.

Google AdSense contributes only 15%-20% of the 2000 USD monthly earnings. Probably, with that earning, it is never possible to run a website on managed Rackspace. As because Google AdSense has almost a flat system to determine CPC, it is never possible to get $2000 without having 50K+ good quality traffic per day. This is may be easy to achieve, but more difficult to maintain because of various factors. Google AdSense, obviously will want to have more earnings, but they will never directly help to achieve the goal. Google AdSense still the most reliable, most regular, most lawful third party Ad Serving company; not all website is/are eligible for running Ads of Developers Media, definitely, AdSense is still the best way to earn for an average publisher. Writing a Blog still makes money with AdSense in 2014, using the same old ways every professional writer know. It is improbable to get changed.

Writing a Blog Still Makes Money With AdSense But Is It Dependable Like Before?

Writing a Blog Still Makes Money With AdSense in 2014

The author considers it to be an unsafe way now. Google AdSense alone was the best way to earn money in a sustained way, once – it is a history, this is not true today with the advent of hundreds or millions of Made for AdSense Websites and counter measures taken by Google Spam Department. Within few months, a well earning Website (only dependent on AdSense) can turn to be a junk. It really does not matter how good is the content of the website is, even what are the good real backlinks – algorithm is not under control by Google AdSense and changes as said, can be dramatic.

It is true, blog writing is still the best way to start Entrepreneurship, but the cost of maintenance cost is too high now, in contrast to 5 years back :

  1. Better Web Host matters now, unofficially ; has increased the cost
  2. Better to have SSL, unofficially; has increased the cost
  3. Page Speed Optimization demands investment
  4. Good webdesign costs over 5K USD for WordPress
  5. Good web font costs a huge
  6. Almost all good RSS web syndication is now paid
  7. Cost of SEO is too higher now
