Creating a 3D star in MS Paint

In this tutorial, we will show, how you can create a basic 3D shape, such as a Star with MS Paint. You can apply this basic process to create other 3D shapes in MS Paint too.

 

Click on Start button, in the search field type “Paint” (without quotation marks) and launch the program by clicking it on the list.

 

In Paint, choose both primary color and secondary color to Yellow:

Then click on the Star shape tool (or any shape you want to create) :

Hold Shift key (to create equal on length and breadth) and draw the star. Now click on Fill dropdown menu and fill with solid color :

Now, from Edit colors, choose a deeper color:

Now, choose the Line draw tool and draw two lines to divide the star into four quadrants:

You can use zoom tool to examine the ends. Do not allow any gap! Otherwise, color will bleed in the next steps.

 

Now, join the remaining areas too, with the line tool:

Now, choose the bucket paint tool. Fill some areas with deep yellow (and one more deeper, if you want) :

Fill some areas with light yellow (almost white) :

Your 3D star is ready.
