Many sites are penalized by Google Update. It is impossible to know exactly which sites are considered content firm. But you may have a vague idea if the site has a large volume of traffic. We will use Google it self to evaluate the influence of visits. Just need a Google Account to use it. Go to Google search. On the main page, click Advanced Search.
Type the name of the site you want to analyze and filter, limit the search in the USA and for the past month. For now, the Google Updater affects only U.S. sites:

We did two tests, one for the site eHow.com we consider it a farm content. The graph shows that they have registered a dramatic decline in visits for a few days, but it rose sharply thereafter. So although Google had penalized, but it relented and many site benefited from this update.

Copy and paste “News blog” type sites has definitely affected. We did a bit research for 8-9 such websites. There is a sharp fall.
Apple.com is the second site, and we see that it is completely unaffected by the update. Say it produces unique content is not necessarily the truth, but the fact that it is an authority, so Google leaves it alone.
