In Windows 7, you can open any hyper-link with the browser you want (like Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari etc).

This is very simple. If you have any shortcut to a hyper-link; just drag it to the browser shortcut:
For Opera, you can pull and drag any text url too:

- If the URL is in other browser than Opera, you can drag that to shortcut or tab of Opera. For other browsers, it may not work.
- For Firefox, a nice add on exists. It is named Open With. Here is the url to install open with add-on. After installing it you will get a right click context menu to open the hyper-link with browser of your choice:
