Try to allow all kinds of Ad formats. It is the CTR that gets increased by using only text Ad units, not the CPC. Allow Google Adbot to decide what to show; that is, keep it as default.
The last point is, some says that using Ads within <div> property can rule out these Low CPC AdSense units.

320×250 is not a standard IAB format, Google AdSense do not have 320×250; but has 300×250. 300×250 will work better as it is standard IAB format Ad.
Other parameters depends on the area where it is placed.

That niche is not perfect for getting a good cpc as the private colleges will use newspaper Ads, not Adwords. Still, try these ways –
Use Adwords for a month or if possible, every month. You can increase your number of visitors and you will understand what people actually searches for, using AdWords keyword tool
Write about Education and Carrier of Higher Niche.
Increase authoritative backlinks. That will increase good quality traffic. Also your number of other Backlinks is very less.
Start to write on a separate category of higher niche in the same website.
Make meta description keyword rich, of 160 chars and matched with webmasters tool keyword relevance.
To increase earing from AdSense the first work is to get good quality traffic. Another thing is, Adsense calculates the quality of clicks, this makes the same Ad of 2 cent / click or $ 20 / click.
