The news is about 10 days old. Google finally has entered the Content Delivery Network with Page Speed CDN Service. Still now, it requires to be verified and selected by Google before one can use the Google Content Delivery Network.
We are hoping for a test drive or finalize with Google Content Delivery Network, basically we were waiting to write about it after the setup. We hope, we will hear from Google Content Delivery Network Team soon to test it and write more on it. Those who are wondering about what is Content Delivery Network (CDN), can read this article.
Google Content Delivery Network was something that was most wanted
Many advanced users, including us, had a bit interest to use Google Content Delivery Network somehow. Some developed WordPress Plugins to load jQuery from Google Content Delivery Network. Some tried to deploy appspot to use the CDN function. The Cache Plugins tried to make the page a static HTML, but as we can not use the Google Content Delivery Network setup truly(had to change the url to absolute in CSS file) : page from single good server with cache ON performed better in real life on browser, than using the appspot method.

How about Google Content Delivery Network ?
- It is a Page Speed service, not only Google Content Delivery Network.
- As we have not tested in real, it is difficult to conclude; but yes Google offers a comparison test before and after the optimization. Test done by webpagetest.
After using Google Content Delivery Network (simulated, not actually deployed):

Comparison of Google Content Delivery Network with other Traditional CDN
It is quite natural that advanced users started to compare Google Content Delivery Network with MaxCDN, Amazon Cloud Flare, Rackspace and NetDNA. Our guess it is better to exclude NetDNA or Rackspace Cloud CDN. Comparison of Google Content Delivery Network comes with two : MaxCDN and Amazon Cloud Flare. We have not tested MaxCDN, Amazon Cloud Flare.
So, we have to wait to pass any comment on Google Content Delivery Network. But some users are saying, Google Content Delivery Network outperforms them. Google officially has said it will “provide developers with specific suggestions to make their web pages faster“, this is really interesting about Google Content Delivery Network with Page Speed CDN Service.
