Cloud Computing Latency Ghost Effect is rather a coined term for a situation when the access is cut off. The usual data latency in Cloud Computing usually does not have that much serious effect, but when the latency reaches a zenith, Latency Ghost Effect can terminate all the services associated with it.

What is this Data Latency in Cloud Computing ?

To provide to very technical detail on Cloud Computing is beyond this website’s capability or rather this is focused for the general users than a technical personnel. We came to know about Data Latency in Cloud Computing when our Critical Data was lost. In one article, we already discussed what is Critical data in Cloud Computing perspective.

Few experience and example will clear the situation. Our employee was saving a data after filling all the fields. The application uses Cloud Computing technology and we store our data on a Cloud Server. Both the services are from Top Notch Cloud Computing Providers.

The employee clicked “Proceed” button, nothing changed, she clicked again (may be repeatedly). The application had the steps like : Click Proceed > Submit (It will close automatically), at the same position behind that data entry window, there is a “Reset This Set” button. If you click it, it will ask to confirm.

As a precaution, the OK button is on the right side instead of left. Unfortunately, all these buttons are nearly at the same co-ordinate of the screen if you use a 1280 x 800 screen. As our employee clicked multiple times observing that there was no change in the screen, she basically reseted the set. When we talked with the Cloud Computing Software provider, they informed us that it happened due to Data Latency in Cloud Computing; furthermore he suggested to contact our Cloud Computing Storage provider.

We came to know about this Cloud Computing Latency Ghost Effect from the person (we will explain later). Another example that you might have noticed while using any free Cloud Computing service like Google’s various online apps or services : your browser’s progress bar is complete, but some pictures are appearing lately. This is due to Data Latency in Cloud Computing.

What is that Cloud Computing Latency Ghost Effect then?

Cloud Computing Latency Ghost Effect - What is this problem  Ghost means the previous thing remains while it is actually not present. Due to mass Data Latency in Cloud Computing, the total Cloud Computing platform can collapse from few seconds to few hours. Few servers might be still alive and represent the older data from the time frame.
