Cloud Colocation : Technology as a Driver

Cloud Colocation, pure cloud and traditional colocation should sing assuming colocation is not a danger to the cloud, instead should facilitate the development. Modern enterprises are becoming increasingly dependent on the cloud and in turn the cloud itself requires an environment in which it will exist. Colocation center offer enterprises and cloud providers to remove the risks of increased capital investment, management of establishments and allow to reach the goals.

Cloud Colocation : Technology as a Driver

The technology of colocation allows multiple users to access networks, servers and storage, and give access to a variety of network providers and telecommunication services.  An interesting parallel relationship between this new technology and the advent of the companies that supplied electricity is – when electricity became a common method of energy supply, because each company had its own source of energy but it soon became clear that maintaining a system of internal supply was too expensive and distracted the companies from their primary business, then it became clear that cheaper way was to buy the energy required to carry its business from a central service. This phenomenon is very similar to what is happening today with cloud services. The economic significance of colocation is that, it allows the companies to focus not only on the infrastructure, but also on their customers.

Cloud Colocation : Coming Back to Open Source

Cloud Colocation

Cloud Colocation means a colocation system for development of own cloud. Cloud Colocation provides the needed bare metal without the investment of huge demand of one time investment, recurrent costs. Traditional colocation on the other hand, usually points towards one server setup. Pure Cloud point towards Infrastructure as a Service.
