This process is collecting the information needed for the operational and strategic business processes to evaluate and make them available. The economic sector of trade, undergoing a paradigm shift, which is due to the technological development. Trading through the Internet and via mobile devices is constantly growing. The traditional stationary trade is in an upheaval. Especially in this area, cloud computing could bring added value and competitive advantage for a trading company. This leads to the question of which potential applications of cloud computing in the commercial ever made and is connected to which opportunities and risks of using cloud computing. With regard to the objective of this article to go for an analysis of possible scenarios and application potentials of Cloud Computing on the market and seek the opportunities and also the risks are identified and evaluated for commercial projects.

The term cloud computing is composed of coined words, deriving from the English words cloud and computing. The cloud serves as a symbolic representation for the Internet, which is the medium through which the products and services offered by cloud service providers. Cloud computing is marked by different solutions and interpretations of each cloud provider.

Although there are a number of definitions, but no uniform definition is established for Cloud Computing . A widespread, recognized and commonly used definition published by the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology). According to the NIST Cloud computing is a model that allows ubiquitous access to on demand constantly available networks.

In this there is a pool of configurable computing (Electronic Data Processing) resources (eg, networks, servers, storage, applications, services) on which the user can access and without major management effort or engagement of the provider quickly to the requirements of can be customized, deployed and enabled customers . In summary, cloud computing can therefore be described as the provision of resources, services, IT infrastructure or complete applications for electronic data processing over a network. The resources are scalable and automatically, dynamically and flexibly adapt to the needs of the customer. NIST definition names the five essential characteristics that describe cloud computing.

The Internet is more and more increasing in importance, both in the private and in the entrepreneurial field. In the age group between 10-44 years, the percentage is even higher than 95%. Consumers have to go to the higher degree of Internet usage compared to earlier times.

This creates a market transparency, which would have been unthinkable a few years ago. For this reason, companies need these days as efficiently as possible to deal with all the available resources in order to use them, especially in the price competition targeted to.
A significant task of strategic management in the commercial is “the existence of the enterprise of new by creating and to secure the development of existing potential for success.” Commercial companies are dependent on a functional and stable IT environment in order to ensure a smooth flow of intra-and extra-company business activities.

To meet these requirements and the resulting potential for success, the use of cloud computing is recommended. This will allow the company offered an innovative way to optimize the information technology architecture of the company and to work permanently on the basis of the latest technologies.

This in turn is an important key to business success. The Different Types of cloud computing offer trading companies excellent opportunities to use one hand tailored to the company IT solutions and to develop, on the other hand, resorting to standard solutions from the cloud.
