Our Basic Work is to Reduce the Cost of Buying to learn Electronics to the beginners. Actually, Arduino is not really the DIY Electronics we are used with. Some of the Sensors May be DIY Method, Some the Reader May Never Need. Ready to Buy Arduino Sensor Kit is Often too Costly, Individual Arduino Sensor May Be Selling at Discount. Here is a Arduino Sensor List.

Arduino Sensor List to Create Kit at Budget : What To Know

We will provide an overall idea through this Arduino Sensor List. You need to understand :

  1. Which sensors you really need
  2. Which seniors you can build in DIY method
  3. Which are possibly never needed
  4. How to use your natural skill to find kind of 50% festival discount via the online shops in Ebay, Amazon etc. portals.

Reader may read theoretical article on sensor and using LED with Arduino as basic sensor.

Arduino Sensor List to Create Arduino Sensor Kit

We found there are nearly 37 sensors in the market. There is no real documentation. Sometimes these 37 Sensors are packed together and sold. Not all are sensors in their list. Some are relay, some are input device and so on. But we found many were missing. Adafruit listed 170 modules as sensors. We are strongly discouraging to buy the sensors as kind of “37 All in one Arduino Sensor Kit” unless you are getting them at $10 – $15 including the shipping charge. You can purchase a Plastic Storage Box with Compartments to keep the separate purchases.

Find an online shop and buy 3-4 sensors at a time undergoing discount. That will reduce the total purchase cost and additional shipping charge for each item.

Not all of them are sensors. Do not expect these listed sensors on this Arduino Sensor List to get in one ready to purchase kit, it is not improbable to have double entries :

  1. Temperature sensor module
  2. Vibration sensor module / Piezo Vibration Sensor
  3. Hall magnetic sensor module
  4. Temperature and humidity sensor module
  5. Flame sensor module
  6. Obstacle avoidance sensor module (IR)
  7. Ultrasonic Sensor
  8. Infrared emission sensor module
  9. Infrared sensor receiver module
  10. Hunt sensor module
  11. Class Bihor magnetic sensor
  12. Metal touch sensor module
  13. Microphone sensor module
  14. Heartbeat sensor module
  15. Pulse Sensor
  16. Muscle Sensor
  17. Laser sensor module
  18. Soil Moisture Sensor
  19. pH Sensor Kit
  20. Geiger Counter
  21. Ambient Light Sensor
  22. Carbon Monoxide Sensor
  23. Liquid Level Sensor
  24. Alcohol Gas Sensor
  25. Hydrogen Gas Sensor
  26. Optical Dust Sensor
  27. Vernier Sensor Temperature Probe
  28. Non-Invasive Current Sensor
  29. Infrared Thermometer
  30. Liquid Flow Meter
  31. Bend sensor
  32. Linear magnetic Hall sensors
  33. Rain Drop Detection Sensor

We have not thoroughly checked these to qualify as sensors :

  1. Key switch module
  2. Small passive buzzer module
  3. 3-color full-color LED SMD modules
  4. Optical broken module
  5. 2-color LED module
  6. Active buzzer module
  7. 3-color LED module
  8. Mercury open optical module
  9. Photo resistor module
  10. 5V relay module
  11. Tilt switch module
  12. Mini magnetic reed modules
  13. XY-axis joystick module
  14. Reed module
  15. Magic light cup module
  16. Yin Yi 2-color LED module 3MM
  17. Automatic flashing colorful LED module
  18. Rotary encoder module

Arduino Sensor List : Conclusion

Sensor should be only purchased on need for the project after huge market research. $1 is huge money!
