Learn to use the Magnifier tool in Windows 7 magnificently

Regular visitors know about our imaginary character alcoholic Thomas.

Unfortunately, he is losing his sight very sharply. He recently got a bit interested in Windows 7 too; perhaps after reading tutorials of The Customize Windows. So, he or unfortunate person like him need some nice tutorial to use the Magnifier tool in Windows 7 very effectively.

Shortcut to launch and close the Magnifier tool in Windows 7:

Press Windows logo key and either (+) or (-) keys simultaneously in the keyboard to launch the Magnifier tool in Windows 7 and press Windows logo key and Esc keys simultaneously in the keyboard to close the Magnifier tool.

Operations:

By default, the Magnifier tool will open as on the top of the screen:

Except in graphical use and simple reading, it is very use for other purposes. You will see the the Magnifier tool window becomes a magnifying glass icon after few seconds delay. You can hover over it and click to get back the main window:

Shortcuts for the toggle view options:

Press CTRL , ALT  and [L] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to toggle to the lens view:

You can also custom set the the size of the Lens by pressing CTRL , ALT  and [R] keys simultaneously in the keyboard

Press CTRL , ALT  and [F] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to roam around the desktop/applications in fullscreen view.

Press CTRL , ALT  and [Arrow] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to toggle to the fullscreen view.

Press CTRL , ALT  and [D] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to toggle to the docked view (on the top of screen, as in the first screenshot).

You can Increase or decrease the magnification by selecting the exact percentages from the drop down menu of the magnifier tool main window or can use (+) or (-) there.

Press CTRL , ALT  and [I] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to toggle to inverted color view.

Press CTRL , ALT  and [Space bar] keys simultaneously in the keyboard to preview the Office in full screen mode.

Lastly, you can click the setting icon in magnifier tool main window to set your preferred font clarity for magnified view.
