Keyboard shortcuts in MS Paint

Microsoft custom logoPreviously we have published numerous keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Windows 7. This time, we are showing you some keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Paint.

Ctrl + N = Create a new image
Ctrl + O = Open an existing image
Ctrl + S = Save the changes to an image
F12 = Save the image in a new file
Ctrl + P = Print a picture
Alt + F4 = Close an image window and Paint
Ctrl + Z = Undo a change
Ctrl + Y = Redo a change
Ctrl + A = Select the entire image
Ctrl + X = Cut a selection
Ctrl + C = Copy a selection to the Clipboard
Ctrl + V = Paste selection from clipboard
Right Arrow = Move the selection or the active form of a pixel to the right
Left Arrow = Move the selection or the active form of a pixel on the left
Down arrow = Move the selection or the active form of a pixel down
Up Arrow = Move the selection or the active form of a pixel at the top
Esc = Cancel a selection
Delete = Delete selection
Ctrl + B = Put the selected text in bold
Ctrl + Plus (+) = Increase the width of a brush, line or shape of a pixel
Ctrl + Minus (-) = Decrease the width of a brush, line or shape of a pixel
Ctrl + I = Change the selected text to italics
Ctrl + U = Change the selected text to underlined
Ctrl + E = Open the Properties dialog box
Ctrl + W = Open dialog box Resize / Skew
Ctrl + Page Up = Zoom
Ctrl + Page Down = Zoom out
F11 = View a full screen image
Ctrl + R = Show or hide the ruler
Ctrl + G = Show or hide gridlines
F10 or Alt = Show or Hide menu buttons
Shift + F10 = Display the current menu
F1 = Open Help (MS Paint)
