In earlier tutorial, we have shown, how to remove “Pin to Taskbar” from right click context menu. Some users do not need the option œPin to Start Menu in right click context menu in Windows 7. This option unnecessarily makes the right click context menu bigger for them. In that case, user may want to remove Pin to Start Menu option. In this tutorial, we will show, how to remove pin to Start Menu option from right click option menu.

Click Start button, type œregedit (without the quotation marks) and press Enter from keyboard. Accept the security prompt to run Windows registry editor:

The zip file contains two registry files: one to enable the Pin to Start Menu in right click context menu, another to remove the option to Pin to Start Menu in right click context menu.
