Awesome post, you beat me to it.

I was also thinking it might be better to use buttons with high share counts to create a form of social proof that might encourage others to share as well.

Thanks for your comments about the Socialize plugin. I really believe in the plugin and love the value it provides to all of it’s users. I really appreciate the support and hope I can continue to provide value to the community.

Thank you very much John for your kind comment.

Those who knows just a bit of coding will understand what fantastic plugin you have developed and how much time you have devoted behind Socialize; thats too for free. Excellent usage of CSS sprites along with more nice work on the script part for this 2.0 version. I was watching your comments thread on your blog before writing : one user said “please add +1”, others supported it too ; you updated it on the next day!

Socialize Socialized The Customize Windows – this is what I can say. Definitely, the group psychology works after observing the high count proof.

You have many fantastic things to gift to the community in the future. Have you joined deviantArt? There are lot of WordPress Theme developers and groups as well. You can Showcase it to my group as well: http://customizewindows.deviantart.com.
