Today, one of my colleague jokingly saying me, “It seems to me, you are writing everything about Cloud Computing…SaaS, PaaS, IaaS…I never heard really. What will you write today, something about Cloud Computing?” I replied to my non-tech friend “Everything as a Service”. He answered, “You will not tell me before publishing it, right?”. Everything as a Service is not much known term among the non-techies.
But, Everything as a Service (XaaS or EaaS) does exist in the field of Cloud Computing. In Simple subdomain of WikiPedia, they have said : “A number of vendors including Google, Microsoft, and Hewlett Packard have been associated with the “everything as a service” trend”. But, Everything as a Service (XaaS or EaaS) is a part of the Levels of Cloud Computing now and probably explains the hierarchy of Cloud Computing Industry in a better way.
What is Everything as a Service (XaaS or EaaS) in Cloud Computing?
Cloud Computing has several levels, Everything as a Service (XaaS or EaaS) targets to make the available resources consumable. This makes it logical final step in Cloud Computing after it has already the software, runtime environments , hardware and human labor as a Service.
