Energy Efficiency Report in Windows 7 can point out whether how is your Laptop’s battery. Apart from it, powercfg can check other parameters as well.

powercfg command for Energy Efficiency Report tool has many variables and can generate Energy Efficiency Report either in xml format or html format. In order to be able to use the powercfg command, the user need run the cmd with Administrative rights.

Which can be done by clicking the Start button, typing “cmd” in the Start menu search field, right clicking over it, selecting the Run as Administrator option, accepting the security prompt and then the cmd console is ready to do the steps needed for generating the Energy Efficiency Report in Windows 7, which we are going to write about. Now, go to that location and open the html file in any browser.
