Robotics Parts are Components of a complete Robot
Quite obviously, in order to create a robot, we need few things like knowledge of Computer and Computer Programming, the instruction set will be send via this computer. In other words, the computer will give ‘real life’ to these robotics parts. This part the central piece of Robotics and good knowledge of UNIX and Programming is required for the association. In this article we will not discuss about this part.
But, we will discuss about the peripheral Robotics Parts, which ultimately are seen to carry the work smoothly.
Understanding peripheral Robotics Parts
The crux to work for something new in robotics is, beside vast academic knowledge the team or a person needs huge creative ideas, knowledge of Do It Yourself (DIY) like projects and most importantly – money.
Mechanical Robotics Part
Just take a situation that, you need to create a Robot which will pickup anything when you wrongly throw it on the floor instead of the trash can. It will recognize it, pick it, open the trash can and dispose it. We can make the Robotics program, which is actually controlling it, to not touch certain things – if a human child or animal kid comes in proximity of it, it will not pick it up and throw to the trash can. This logics are very important parts of Robotics.

Pure Mechanical Robotics Part
From the mainframe or chassis to the movable by hinge action all falls in to the Pure Mechanical Robotics Parts.
Electro Mechanical Robotics Part
Best example is the motor. Without a motor nothing can be done. Usually today servo motors are used which can be actuated by the programs. That means, the motor will have almost zero rotation when it is need to stop. Usually Servo brakes are used to achieve the effectiveness.
Fine Electronic Parts
We need senor, camera to make our robot understand that you have thrown something to the floor and recognize its location in 3D space.
Pneumatic Robotics parts
Though technically Pneumatic Robotics parts should fall under electromechanical part, due to its completely new usage, we have classified it separately. Best example of Pneumatic Robotics parts are Pneumatic muscles.
