Perfect Data Center is still among the list of requirements by many organizations and companies who need more privacy and secrecy of their data on own server. Previously we wrote the basics about a Data Center and some points how they are maintained like a dedicated work – Data Center Cooling and Server Cooling. With time, many things has been changed and a Perfect Data Center in 2012 is not the same which was defined to be Perfect Data Center in 2002 for various reasons. As the title says, the key points of todays Perfect Data Center is the aspects of Economical points, Reliability and Flexibility.
Economical points of a Perfect Data Center
If someone shuts down all the servers – definitely it is very economical. But, is that a Perfect Data Center ?
So the point “Economical” does not mean a compromise on any aspect. That might shrink the budget, but can not build a Perfect Data Center. Various types of Servers are today in the market. Blade Server, Rack Server aids the modular design of a server room and makes it easier to control a disaster.
Probably the most ignored part is the physical location of a data center to cut off the initial budget. Economical means, what the need is, the supply sings with it.
Reliability of a Perfect Data Center
Reliability of a Data Center depends on its setup, its location, available hardware, skilled personnel, Security, Softwares, available resources and definitely the location of the place.
If one component is missing or weak, a data center will never be a Perfect Data Center. If the location is at a remote place, probable clients who needs colocation server, will avoid it. If the data center has less security, frank robbery will be obvious.
Flexibility of Perfect Data Center
Lack of flexibility makes anything far from being perfect. Be it a human or a data center. Flexibility of a Perfect Data Center means, its all aspects – from hardware, software to skilled workers are upgradeable. Perfect Data Center never exists, but having the mentality towards building a perfect Perfect Data Center itself makes it reliable.
