Flow of Information Between Organization, Technology and Human

In the era of Cloud Computing, Automation and Big Data, IoT – Flow of Information Between Organization, Technology and Human Matters a Lot. Each company creates, processes and stores information about their customers, products and services. In addition to such inventory data, information about the processes are increasingly being recognized to matter much. These include, for example, orders and product usage data.

The Flow of Information Between Organization, Technology and Human Will Increase

However, to survey the totality of the information is hardly possible today – it demands too much manual work to organize. In everyday sector, often friction results towards loss, due to which an organization might have no overview of all the available information. For example, if Department A is not informed about the interaction of a customer with Division B, now usable flow of information can be gathered.

This overview, however, is crucial to understand by the shops, businesses and business models as a whole. Sales, for example – often misses the overview of the available information, resulting in gap in implementation of the decisions which need to be strengthened based on the intuition or derived information.

Information management is now not an easy task. Many organization operate hundreds – larger companies often thousands – of IT applications. Information are so often fragmented into numerous databases, log files in spreadsheets and isolated here and there, often they are difficult to work with. Not only the technological and organizational barriers matters – diverse information highnesses or the skills of the employees in dealing with information make it difficult to exchange and track the information.

Typical example is X numbered patients received Y number of drugs per head for treatment and ultimately became normal. It is practically impossible to use the currently available huge amount of such data which can be useful. Data frankly exists in formats which are not possible to analyze directly using modern systems. Ultimately, from Smart Devices of IoT to Intelligent Automation – all are dependent on the analysis and data in modern format.

Factors Influencing The Flow of Information Between Organization, Technology and Human

In everyday business, friction losses arise when information across departments are requested and sent away. The usual causes are three in number :

Compliance : Legal requirements may preclude insight across departmental boundaries, for example, in the separation of life insurance and health insurance information within an insurance company.

Appreciation : The members of a department are responsible for the quality of the information they manage. They invest their daily work in the quality and availability of information and so much more. Information is an asset which will be defended and appreciated.

Commonality : to provide an overview of the information, a cross-sectional task, which is typically not assessed in the primary business organization might be required.

Both the exchange and access to information must be encouraged and rewarded. The methodology for the collection and pooling of information is often strongly influenced by the technology used. In general, information is stored in relational database systems. Regardless of manufacturer and model of license, these databases implement basically the same handling form which can be outlined as follows:

Data model in the form of relations, consistency and integrity constraints

Data capture, for example, import or upload

Data request via standardized query language such as SQL)

However, with respect to an over-looking information management this method reaches its limits. They often ensures that many companies fail to meet their goals in information management. It is also partly a reason for slippages of data warehouse and business intelligence projects typically put on the same technological base.
