10 days back, IBM had Developers Day in India. What Happened on IBM Developer Day 14th March 2019? What gain your new company will get by attending such event? In very short without making the description of the event detailed (and disgusting), we must point it that it was more than a trade fair than just series of lectures. There was lot of things to play hands-on. IBM has uploaded some of the videos on their YouTube channel. For makers like us, various toys are of highest importance!

Happenings like IBM CEO Ginni Rometty pointed about open source principles possibly can be heard over the internet but becming able to meet and interact with the IBM Developer Advocates and other developers can not be simulated over the internet.

IBM Developer Day had a panel discussion about on Developers, Technology, Startup Ecosystem and Industry. The TJBot demonstration by IBM points one fact – developing with the technologies of IBM promotes the developer (TJBot was developed by IBM research worker). Age of cute TJ Bot is growing! It can understand a person, tell their age, answer general questions, say hi. Of course, it is important to mention of NAO bot :

So cute.

IBM and NASSCOM announced their “India Developer Champions” a new multi-year program campaign to recognize developer contributions to the open source community. Ending was with a musical program at ending.

Interest, gain of different groups will be different. It is fact that that the topics of discussion on cloud computing can not be different from the topics we discuss as theory on this website and there are really lot of such useful website on this earth. But bigger truth is that, a developer who is planning of things open source hardware company should at least listen face to face discussion of important peoples in real life. None on this earth alone has enormous capability. A group of bloggers were invited to a Round Table Interaction with IBM Team.
As IBM Q focussed the initiative to build universal quantum computers, there is reason to research around it. IBM also emphasized interest in equipping students, educational institutions, application-centric content to engage individual developers, small business owners, startup companies to solve real-world problems.

Of course code sharing websites like GitHub is our main place. Gathering of so many frontend engineers, dev ops experts, backend engineers, data science enthusiasts, media peoples, industry owners at one place do announce the unity to work together and progress.
