With AeroCmd, you can make the command prompt of Windows 7 fully transparent. Windows Vista and Windows 7 is needed, both running Aero. It wont work on windows XP. This application is developed by Solo-Dev.

Usage of AeroCmd as suggested by the developer:
I suggest downloading and unzipping the app to your c:windowssystem32 folder, as how that is where Cmd.exe is at. I have set the Startup Folder as the System32 folder, same folder as how Windows starts up at now.
This will only Aero one window at a time. So if you start up 4 cmd.exe apps, one will not be aero’d, until you start up another process.
Usage of AeroCmd suggested by ThecustomizeWindows:
- Download and unzip; right click on the exe file and run as Administrator. This method will work on Windows 7 64 bit with SP1.
- To change the color, you have to change the System scheme color (from Desktop right click > Personalize > Window color (link at the bottom of the window) :
