Actually the thing How to create Virtual Appliance Sounds as if requires too high technical knowledge, but basically it is easy. Even if you do not know how to run any Operating System under Virtualization, you can read this guide with video on how to run Ubuntu Linux on Mac OS X using Virtual Box, which is a Free Virtualization Software.
